We welcome you to the Australian Capital Endoscopy Symposium (ACES) which will be held in Canberra, Australia from October 30th to November 1st 2026.
This will be a weekend focused on all aspects of endoscopy.
Friday 30th October
ACES 2026 opens with two parallel sessions.
1. A focused Interventional EUS Meet the Experts programme.
This session provides a deep dive into advanced practices with interactive cases and video-based discussions which include:
Patient selection and decision-making, EUS-guided biliary drainage, gastrojejunostomy and emerging applications such as endo-hepatology and ablation techniques.
2. A parallel Endoscopy Masterclass designed to deliver practical, immediately applicable endoscopy skills.
This features a series of high-impact, case-driven session which covers:
Polyp resection strategies, how to navigate difficult colonoscopy, prevention and management of complications, precision imaging in Barrett’s and gastric IM, and practical electrosurgery and endoscopic stricture management.
Saturday 31st October - Sunday 1st November
The main symposium will be a mixture of didactic lectures, live cases transmitted from Canberra Hospital and MDT case based discussions. The focus will be on discussing challenging endoscopic cases, evidence based guidelines and optimizing endoscopic practice in both luminal and pancreaticobiliary endoscopy.
We have organized a stellar international and national faculty to help deliver this premier educational event.
